I have had my first interlock violation. What are the possible consequences for this action?

I have had my first violation on my interlock device with only 2 more months remaining before license reinstatement. I have completed all probation requirements over a year ago. Will my BAC matter and may they prolong the time requirement for my restricted license? I have lost numerous career opportunities as a recent M.S. graduate as a result of this device and am actively looking for work. Thank you for your time and consideration.
If you have three or more faield tests (BrAC of .025 or higher) in any 12 month consecutive period, then your interlock will be extended for 1 year. All future violations will result in an additional year per violation and possible revocation of your driving priviliges.
If you reinstated on early reinstatement with the hopes of getting the device removed after 120 days, that option is no longer available due to the violation.
Stop drinking so that you can get the device removed and pursue potential career opportunities.
Your question begs the question "why?" Why would you risk the good things in life by drinking while on probation with an interlock device on your car? Mr. Orr nailed the analysis that applies in your situation, but it is time to get your priorities straight.
Good luck to you.
