If I file a complaint to the PA department of labor, for unpaid incentive wages can my employer fire me?

My employer doesn't want to pay me my orderfilling incentive for the work I did last week. There reason for not paying me these wages is because their cycle test was off. I want to file a complaint but I can't afford to get fired?

In Pennsylvania, your employer may fire you for nearly any reason, which is not illegal. In this case, if your employer fired you in retaliation for filing a Wage Complaint with the Dept. of Labor and Industry, then you may have a claim for "wrongful discharge." In the past, albeit in a different situation (but close enough), Pennsylvania courts have allowed employees who were fired for filing a claim for workers' compensation to sue their employer for wrongful discharge. Your situation is different, and there is no guarantee that a court would find the same way in your case, but I think you would have a compelling argument on your hands. You should consult with an attorney and weigh your options.
