My manager had just recently put me on probation for a mistake that I had made at work, and now my managers wife is talking about it on her facebook, and calling me horrible names! She is also an employee of this facility. Should she know about things that are discussed behind closed doors between me and my manager? Can she legally be putting these things on facebook, all while calling me horrible names? And what legal action can I take?

I would start by filing an internal complaint with the company (use an attorney), stating that the employee (manager's wife) is making false and defamatory statements about you.
