How long does it take for an advanced parole form to be approved?

I am on an H1B visa but it expires mid-September. I got married a month ago to US citizen and we are submitting all forms for green card in a week but I need to travel for work in October. Will the advanced parole document come in on time? What about the work authorization card since my H1B ends mid-September?

The I-131 and I-765 -- when filed simultaneously with the I-485 -- typically are adjudicated in 45-90 days. If you have an emergency need to travel before your I-131 is approved, schedule an InfoPass appointment at your local field office to request the I-131 be granted there. You should absolutely retain an attorney to assist you with this process and to advise you of the risks of traveling on advanced parole.
