Renting to Own and Landlord served us with eviction notice!

Our contract to purchase that house does not have a date on when rent is due. It states that the house will be paid in full by April 30, 2012. The landlord is refusing to take payments from us and has served us with eviction notice. What are our rights? The purchase price for the house was 15,000 and we owe 6,100 now. What can we do? We are supposed to go to court on Tuesday
