Have you or your company ever provided any goods or services for any of the several resorts owned by Pacific Monarch? If so, you probably received the notice because you are listed in the company's records as a creditors. The fact the bankruptcy was filed in 2011 suggests that the document you received is probably a notice of a motion to approve a plan of reorganization.

It is a notice of a hearing on the application of the attorneys for the Chapter 11 debtor Pacific Monarch Resorts, Inc. for approval of their fees and expenses. Unless you have reason to object, you need not be concerned. But you received the notice as a "party in interest", meaning Pacific Monarch Resorts believes you have a claim for money. If you are owed money, or believe you have a claim, you may want to consult a lawyer to review the debtor's case and the proposed plan to ensure you don't miss out on a possible payment dividend under the terms of the plan.
