I want her to be on F2 dependent on my F1 so that she can stay longer than 6 months. and next year she also want to study and be on her own F1. Que1: do she needs to go back to India to stamp her F2 or F1 Que2: will she have any trouble getting her F2 transfer to F1 latter on Que3: Her B2 will still be valid or will it be expired once she got F2 Thanks in Advance

Contact the international student adviser at the school where your wife wants to enroll. If she wants to study, the correct and proper visa is F. A B2 IS generally granted for six months. Extensions are possible, provided the individual has not violated the conditions of their admission.

F1. Que1: do she needs to go back to India to stamp her F2 or F1 ... no .. but, if she wishes to travel she'll need a stamp. Que2: will she have any trouble getting her F2 transfer to F1 latter on ... it is hard to say ... probably not. Que3: Her B2 will still be valid or will it be expired once she got F2 ... the I-94 controls, not the stamp in the passport. I agree with my colleague. I would only add that you need to be careful about the date of her arrival and your marriage. If she married you within 30 days of her arrival, there could be a problem of intent. Expressing your intent to visit does not necessarily track with getting married and wanting to stay in the US. I would suggest consulting an attorney first. Good Luck!
