I have a supplemental proceedings hearing from Capital One. What documents do I need to bring?

I did not reveive a summons because I would not answer the door. But I looked online and found my hearing date. I am going to file bankruptcy in about 45 days so I was going to go to court and make an arrangment with .25 on the dollar then fill bankruptcy. Will this work? I was making $75,000.00 4 years ago and now am at $39,000 right now due to job change and have to hold onto the house then let the cards go.

At supplemental proceedings, they want to know what and where all your assets are, so any information about all your assets would be what they are after. If you are going to file bankruptcy, then that would possibly discharge all your debts, so it wouldn't make sense to worry about the collection efforts or trying to negotiate an "arrangement". You should probably speak with a bankruptcy attorney to discuss the details. Jason Anderson is a good one. 206.706.2882.
