i was eating a bonless grilled chicken salad got choked on a piece of chicken that had a very sharp bone in it i coughed it up the manager came and looked at it called his distribitor right away said this never happen before they sale at least 40 or 50 of these salads a day he came back to check on me and was on the phone with a few people after the incident he didn"t charge for my dinner but the other ladys that was with me he made pay for theirs this was a family restarant he adk if i wanted a bloody mary he said they didn't serve them there but he would find me one that offended me i am not a drinker so what should i do about this i did call corp. they called me back but i missed the return call.any light you could shed on this matter would be heipful. thank you

While it's unfortunate that this happened it's unlikely worth suing over. You would have to have some physical or emotional injury that was treated with medical help to make any significant recovery. Without medical treatment related to the chicken bone, it's unlikely a lawyer will take your case. If they comped your meal I'd say you made out as good as you are likely to do. If you are still upset, write a bad review of the restaurant on websites. Bad reviews online cause more damage to restaraunts than anything else these days. Also, be aware that sometimes accidents happen and if you believe the manager that a bone in the chicken salad is rare, realize that an apology was made. Sometimes things happen that can't be helped.
