My rights when renting a room in NJ
Was told had laundry priv-now washer not working, she said not fixing go to laundramat! Drains in bathroom back-up, she keeps turning up ac, eventhough I told her prior to my renting I have heart condition. Place is a pig pen, noise as well plus her smoking when she stated she did not in the house. I have no written lease. I have no extra $$$ to leave, paying $150/wk and not getting Full benefits I was told. What can I do, should I reduce what I am giving her, if so she will ask me to leave and if so, what steps must she take?
