Employer lied and said I failed a drug test. I can prove I didn't. Can I sue for wrongful termination?

I had an accident at work. Per company policy, I had to take a drug test. The person who administered the test said that I was "borderline positive". I don't even know what that means, but I was fired because of it. I was a truck driver prior to this, and DOT mandates drug tests which I have passed. My most recent drug test was given to me in March in CA (I'm from Michigan) which I still have the results of. I also spoke with an occupational health clinic where I have taken ALL of my occupational drug tests, and they have a record of ALL the results of the tests I've taken there. The test the employer gave me was an instant test, which I did NOT see the results of. I don't care about the job, I care more about my character and my integrity. Do I have a case?

This looks like they didn't want to deal with your "accident." So now they "interpret" some BOGUS (borderline) result to "fire" you and blame you to cover their a$$es. Was the accident an auto accident or were you injured? If you're injured and they fire you that violates MI Workers' Comp. Laws. If a trucking accident they can fire you as MI is an "at-will" state. Take your info to a lawyer's office to discuss and review! Good luck.
