Can a h1b visa holder work remotely (from home)?

Currently my employer initiated the process for my H1B extension. My employer filed my LCA , with the place of employment address as Client location. I got my LCA certified with the same. Now can I work remotely (form home)? For this do I have to notify to USCIS or DOL about this? Does this any way effect my extension process?

As long as you have bonafide employment with your sponsering employer working from home should not affect your H1B visa status. I
