Injury. The guy has money bailed out the next day and his first arraignment will be next week what can I expect for the DA to do in this case what kind of justice will this man receive I have many questions and concerns thank you for any advice.
I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot image the pain you and your family are going through. I too have lost many friends and family to Drunk Drivers.
You should contact a personal injury attorney to handle this for you. I am happy to speak to you about this matter. My firm has handled many cases like this successfully. My cell phone number is 949-444-6904.
First of all, I am very sorry to hear about this. It is tragic that people continue to drink and drive and cause injuries and death. You should request that the DA prosecute the case and cooperate with them if they need information. They can order that the defendant pay criminal restitution to your family as part of his sentencing if he is found guilty or pleads guilty. In the civil arena, your brother's "heirs" would be entitled to bring a wrongful death claim. The "heirs" would include his parents, spouse, children and possibly siblings just depending upon the makeup of the family, whether your brother had a will and some other factors. You should consult with an attorney as soon as you feel able to do so as the civil claim could be prejudiced by delay. Our office handles these types of wrongful death claims and would be glad to see what we might do to provide you any more information or assistance.

My sincere condolences for your loss. What the DA does with thecase really depends on many factors including any prior DUI's the defendant may have had. The DA would be able to determine if a Watson hearing would be appropriate in your case; meaning the the sefendant would be charged with murder.
As mentioned above, there is a civil case that can and should be brought against thr defendant. You should immediately speak with an experienced wrongful death lawyer. My firm has handled many similar cases including one that was recently concluded. Feel free tocall anytime to speak with me 888.222.8286

My deepest condolences. You should retain an attorney with a low contingency fee, less than 30%, so your family is left with some money from the wrongful death settlement after the lawyer takes his fee. Good luck to you.

Your family needs to immediately contact a personal injury lawyer. The lawyer can help with both dealing with the DA and recovering funeral / burial expenses within the criminal proceeding. Additionally a civil wrongful death claim should be made against the defendant. The lawyer will determine who the proper heirs are for bringing such an action. Don't wait!!
