How long does probate take in maryland?

why would trustee/executor list themselves as an interested party? also the executor listed the Trust as an interested party but has failed to tell the heirs anything about the trust. the only real property listed is the house do you know how long will it take to close the probate and sell the home? How will heirs know what is in the trust account also the will very generic and directs everything to the living trust which was managed by a thief and the co-executor is a crack user. the will states heirs can not contest or will be disinherited.

It sounds like you have a pour-over Will. In such cases, the Trustee might be the only interested party, because everything in the Will passes to the trust. As to how long it usually takes in MD, I would defer to a MD attorney. In Michigan, the file needs to be open for at least 6 months. Many states allow creditors up to a year to make claims against an estate, however. James Frederick
