i just filed for full custody of my 2 year old a couple of weeks ago and her father now refuses to give me any money. He only sees her about once every 2 or 3 months and use to send me money on and off. i need to know what i can do to make him pay up?
You should file for child support immediately if not sooner. Child support is retroactive to the date your petition is filed. Each day that goes by you loose child support. You should also ask that the child support be paid through support collection so that they will keep track of what is and isn't paidl

Of course! If you have primary physical custody now, then you can and should seek a temporary order for child support and that order will be enforceable immediately against the father. If the father is working then the child support may be deducted directly by the employer even while your custody matter is pending. I suggest you contact a local attorney immediately for assistance so you can be sure to obtain the best possible outcome on the issue of custody and support. You can find contact information here on for an attorney who can help. Good luck!

You need to file for child support in addition to child custody. With an order in place the legal system will be able to put pressure on him to pay support on a regular basis. A lawyer will be able to help you through this process.
