Can the reason for wanting my juvenile records expunged be seen by the military?

I am now 18 and have not had any trouble with the law since being 18, not even a traffic violation.

There are many reasons one might want a record expunged. However, you are NOT eligible for enlistment in the military as a result of your prior criminal record--expunged or not. See a local recruiter--they'll fill you in.

You need to hire a local criminal defense attorney and file a motion to expunge all your juvenile court records. Once the order is granted, the entire file is sealed including the petition and order granting.

I believe that you could enlist in the military if the felony occurred as a juvenile and you then get the records expunged, however the military may still be able to access your juvenile history as your finger prints are probably on file with the federal government. In other words, if they ask if you got into trouble as a juvenile, then you need to explain it.
