Is there a form to file a motion to quash a service of summons? My father was served papers from his wife for dissolution

marriage. She left ohio and went to CA and has not been a resident for 6 months. We want to file a motion to quash and then file for legal seperation to allow him jurisdiction, he has only been back in Ohio for 2 months. So legal seperation is his only legal option at this point. He was recently diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer and is undergoing treatments. He is not well. We need to act fast to get her paperwork thrown out. We do not have the money to pay someone to do this for us. We already have an attorney for the legal seperation. Funds are limited due to his condition. Thank you for any advise you can provide.

If you have an attorney, as you state in your question, then all your questions should be directed to him/her. As for jurisdiction, someone may very well have maintained residence in Ohio while also living in California. You would need to discuss all the facts with your lawyer to better advise you on the matter. Good luck.
