Did the doctor who called you or his/her office know you are restrained? Is doctor willing to testify it was an emergency? Are you wife's emergency contact? Call a criminal attorney for at least a consult, if not representation. I recommend you not not go to court without an attorney.

You have two problems. If the FRO says no contact, that is what it means and its is Somerset County. Call you attorney, if you did not have one get one now. This is a non DP action so it constitutes a DP violations but you do not want that on you record. Alot wil depend on what your wife wnats here. You may be able, with her consent, to add a clause to the FRO.

It may be a viable defense. It may also be a sympathetic explanation that results in a favorable plea offer. The consequences of a contempt charge are permanent and serious. Get a criminal defense lawyer to deal with this.
