If I live in Pennsylvania and got a ticket in Maryland, will the points transfer and make my insurance go up?

I was going 58 in a 35 and got a $160.00 speeding ticket. Do I have to drive all the way back to Maryland or do the points just not transfer? Basically, if all I do is pay the fine, will I be penalized with points and will my insurance go up?

You should be discussing this with a Maryland attorney. Since the incident occurred in Maryland-their law takes precedent. Find out from them whether this carries points in their state. If you receive the points, it will carry over.

Points for speeding out of state do not transfer to your Pennsylvania driving record. In theory they should not impact your insurance premiums because the insurance company would only check the state that issued you a driver's license.
