Im 17 years old in Missouri and I was charged with a class A misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia. This is the first time I have been arrested or anything crazy like that, I've never been involved with the police except for a car wreck. I was arrested and had to pay a $500 bond. My court is in a couple weeks. I just wanted to know what my punishment will be and if I will be put in jail for this?

The range of punishment for a Class A misdemeanor is up to a year in the county jail and/or up to a $1,000 fine. Since it is your frist offense they will either offer you a fine or probation. You need to hire an experienced criminal defense attorney in your area to negotiate you the best deal.
