My L1 gets expired on 1st of May 2013. And my I 94 issued up to 2015. My dependent visa L2 has expiry on May 1st same as I 94.

My L1 gets expired on 1st of May 2013. And my I 94 issued up to 2015. My dependent visa L2 has expiry on May 1st same as I 94. Below are my questions. 1. Is it that I have to start filling for renewal before 6 months or can I start from 6 months ( I mean can I do it from any date from my 6th month starting) 2. Do I need to go back to India for extension or it can be done from US only. 3. If my L2 candidate had EAD will that EAD has to be renewed/extended. Pls. let me know. Thanks.

Both the L-1 and the L-2 can be renewed in the US and the EAD will also need to be renewed. You can file an I-129 up to six months prior to the expiration. The I-539 for the L-2 may need to be done sooner. It would also be good to know when your I-797 expires so you can try to sync the extension applications.
