Unless you have a factual basis for contending that the difference in treatment is based on a prohibited criteria such as your race or religion, this discrepancy is not an unlawful action by the employer. Employers can treat employees differently and can take individual factors into account in making decisions and choices about employees so long as the bases for the employer's differences in treatment are not based on protected classifications such as race, gender, age, disability, etc.
