I recently decided to put a fence up between my neighbors and my house and they are saying that they have a right away to the driveway on my property that I built 20 years after they were given right away to the original driveway. My husband and I allowed them to use the driveway for years but in the last year they have abused the driveway and continually park on our property. We have decided to tear out the driveway and fence in our yard and now they claim the right away on their deed covers our driveway we built out through our back yard. I am in Ohio. Can a right away cover my property without my giving consent?

You first stop should be a title company for a report on your land and theirs and then take the reports to a real estate attorney to see what authority your neighbors have to use your property. If the have a deeded easement or other agreement you will want to know before taking any action. Good Luck
