Are month-to-month tenants eligible for a relocation allowance following a foreclosure in Los Angeles?

If the original term of my lease is up and I am now on a month-to-month tenancy, am I still eligible for the relocation allowance afforded to tenants displaced as a result of a foreclosure in a property covered by the City of Los Angeles Rent Control Ordinance/Foreclosure Eviction Ordinance? I am being asked to move by the real estate acquisitions firm which bought the property at auction, not because of any of the "12 Reasons to Evict" as listed in LA's Rent Control Ordinance, but because the individual who has made an offer to purchase the property from them has asked that the property be vacated prior to them taking possession of it.
If you are month to month AFTER being there 12 months, you are entitled to 60 days notice, at least, maybe more in rent control. If it's the prior owner not the new one, you are in a better bargaining position regardless of any right to money to move. Sooner or later you will have to move and as a month to month tenant you likely have few rights, even in rent control, so, I would strongly consider negotiating with these folks for some payment to move. Lastly, for a definitive answer go to the county board in charge of this program or local legal aid society.

Mr. Kaufman has given you sound advice. You should see if you can negotiate something here, but it doesn't sound like you are in a great spot, based on the details provided.
LARSO does not apply if the property was purchased as the buyers principal place of residency. If the acquisition company is trying to sell it to someone who will use it as their primary residence, you would be eligible for relocation assistance. $9,800 for unqualified tenants and $19,.800 for qualified tenants.
