I am sorry to hear about your loss. If it can be proven that he would have survived had a doctor been there then you would have a case. I am based out of Chicago, but know some very good firms in Minnesota that would investigate this for free and only be paid if they win. If you would like a referral call me at (800) 517-1614.

I have been involved with a similar case and am familiar with the applicable standard of care. There are nursing interventions, including medication which are typically effective and do not require a doctor to administer. In addition, there are emergency interventions which create an open airway and since you Husband was already in the care of a hospital it is bewildering to me why that was not done. I do feel that this should be carefully reviewed and would be honored to help you find a local firm with directly applicable experience. If you would like to contact me privately we can discusss how best to proceed. I am very sorry for your loss. Best Regards.Paul Levin Esq

As the previous responders had also indicated, I am sorry for your loss. You may have a right to a wrongful death claim against the hospital. As per usual, there are a number of moving parts in a liability claim. You should contact an attorney to discuss the standard of care for this type of situation, and the viability of a possible liability action based on your and your late husband's specific set of facts and circumstances. I can arrange an initial consultation for you if you like. Sincerely, Eric M. Palmer Palmer O'Dea Law Firm 651-633-9367
