How can I issue a general power of attorney to my uncle who lives in Egypt to take care of a personal business in Egypt?

I am a US Citizen. I am originally from Egypt. I have been living in America for the past 14 years old. My Egyptian passport has expired. I only have my Egyptian birth certificate.
I would like to send my uncle, who is not a US citizen and currently resides in Egypt, a general power of attorney. This general power of attorney should allow my uncle to deposit and withdraw money from my bank account in Egypt. Also, my uncle should be able to see my real estate property in Egypt.
If you need a power of attorney to be used in Egypt, it needs to meet Egyptian requirements. The easiest way to do that is call the Egyptian consulate near you, and ask if they offer the document, or will provide you with an attorney who can draft them locally (many consulates keep lists of attorneys for that purpose). Alternatively, you would ask your uncle in Egypt to have one prepared there, and sent to you. You would then have it signed at the local consulate the meet the requirements necessary to be accepted in Egypt (usually a combination of notary and apostile). Good luck.
I agree with Attorney Moore. It does you no good to have a POA drawn up here that the Egyptians will refuse to honor. You can either contact the consulate as suggested by Attorney Moore, or call (or have your uncle call) an attorney in Egypt to set this up for you.
