How do I go about suing the Department of Defense, VA, and Monsanto for toxic exposure in 1985-1986 under HR 2052?

While at Ft. McClellan, AL for my Basic training and AIT, I was exposed to toxins that we were unaware of at the time, even though the DOD had known about it. I developed an odd tumor that was removed, then another, even more rare, about a year later that was bad enough to give me an early retirement. Since then I have had many more medical problem. I just recently found out about HR 2052, and all the other veterans that have had similar health issues.

I would google "military tort claim lawyer" or "VA tort claim law firm" or something along those lines. This is a very specialized area of law that 99.9% of attorneys do not handle. You will need to find a firm that does a lot of this kind of work.

The Feres Doctrine will be a problem. HR 2052 if passed may not help. You need to contact Jack Zimmerman, he's in the Houston area.

The Feres doctrine referred to by Mr. Cave is a very strict rule of law that makes the Federal government immune to liability for any injuries sustained by active duty military personnel. In other words, you can't sue the Federal government for injuries sustained while on active duty. I cannot advise you about possible remedies against a chemical company for these problems. If there is any suit pending on behalf of veterans in your situation you will probably be able to find out about it on line.
