Do co-guardians of a person both need to sign any legal documents for a person's care or is one signature enough?

I work in a nursing home so this question is related to that field.

Traditionally this would depend on the Court's Order appointing the Guardians. Sometimes the Court determines that either Guardian may act independently. If you have concerns, you should have your facility's Attorney give guidance as to your State's Law, and the interpretation of the applicable documents so you do not have to be concerned about making such a decision yourself. I hope this helps. Best Wishes Bob Brenna Jr Brenna Brenna & Boyce PLLC Rochester, New York

I agree, it depends on how the court granted the co-guardianship. In most cases only one of the guardians needs to sign. Good luck.
