I am currently active duty military. I wanted to add a roommate to the lease agreement. I am aware that if i am deployed i do not have to fufill the requirements of the lease. My question is ...Will my roommate be heald finacialy responsible for any remaining months of the lease?..Thank you

Whether you can be excused from your lease due to military deployment depends on the terms of your lease and any applicable local law. You will have to review the specific lease terms or the local ordinance to determine if any such exemption exists, and if it will still apply if there is a roommate who is not in the same situation.

Very likely the roommate will be responsible for the balance due under the lease unless he or she is also militarily deployed like you.
