Whats the difference between "No lawful status" and "entered without inspection" on the consideration deferred act form?

I'm applying for the consideration of deferred act for childhood arrivals and read in the instructions page, "For deferred action for childhood arrivals, unlawful status means your lawful status has expired as of June 15, 2012 or you entered the U.S without inspection." On question 15 "Status of Entry" on form I-821D I believe I should put "No lawful status." I've read someones question that was similar to mine on this website and some lawyers said to put " Entered without inspection." I came into the U.S when I was 2 and my mother just carried me in without inspection but from what the instructions say, "No lawful status" still sounds accurate.

All of the attorneys are correct .... to some extent. Status at time of entry can be No Lawful Status ... even if someone Entered Without Inspection. In my opinion, there is no significant different and I am using No Lawful Status on most of my applications. Meet with an attorney and tell him/her your story.

"No lawful status" means your lawful status expired. "Entered without inspection" is exactly what happened with you, you were brought over without inspection at the border. It doesn't matter if you were two years old and that your mother carried you over. Hope this helps.
