for16 years have been driving on suspended lic. for DUI. Have been arrested 4 times for dui and have never taken care of the problem. recently was arrested for( yet again ) driving on suspended, DUI, no insurance, no registration, contempt of court.
You need to get your license reinstated or stop driving.
No one can tell you how much time you will get unless he/she is your attorney. That being said, with your record I would expect that you would do jail time.
If this is your fourth DUI, expect to do some serious jail time. DUI and suspended license convictions come with mandatory jail time. Judges also tend to give more time depending on a person's record.
An Attorney would have to review your drivers/criminal history to determine the number of convictions in either a 5 or 10 year time frame. You may have am Habitual Violator or possibly a Felony issue depending on how many DUI's you were convicted of in relation to the time period.
Just based upon the number of DUI's I would anticipate you may be looking at some serious jail time and the contempt charge will not help your case. Other than minimum guidelines a qualified Attorney may be able to negotiate some incarceration alternatives such as work release or inpatient treatment for alcoholism.
