Violation of California VC 22406 (b)

I was cited for a violation of CA VC 22406 (b) "passenger car or bus drawing another vehicle in excess of 55 mph". According to the definitions in the CA VC, the vehicle I was towing with is not a passenger car or bus. the correct section of VC 22406 would have been VC 2406(a) when trailering with a pickup truck. Is this inaccuracy in the citation grounds for dismissal of the ticket?

No- the DA has up to one year to amend citation. You should get an attorney to deal with is offense. Andrew Roberts (818) 597-0633

No the inaccuracy is not grounds for a dismissal. The officer or DA if they are involved can amend to cure the defect. You should seek local counsel immediately to assist you.
