To Sue or Not to Sue....would it be worth the effort?

I had a back molar extraction done on a Thursday, it was the most painful extration I have ever had. On Sunday, I developed all of the signs of Bell's Palsy. I am unable to close my left eye, I have massive pain underneath my ear, I can't rub my lips together, and the worst part is my smile. Its gone. I don't know if its worth the fight against a denist. I can't find any studies or results showing that people developed Bell's Palsy after a dental procedure.

The cause of Bell's Palsy in many cases is unknown, and therefore provides a perfect defense for the dentist. The fact that it developed after your dental procedure coudl be just coincidental . I think it will be hard for you to find an attorney under these facts. Good luck.

I agree, I do not think you will easily be able to retain a lawyer to get into this situation.

Bell's palsy is believed to be caused by inflammation or damage to cranial nerves. See a doctor ASAP to get the symptoms controlled. Then look for a local personal injury lawyer.
