Will registering to be an amateur porn artist go on any view-able records for the future?

Business Questions 2 views 4 answers
My girlfriend and I are looking to make some extra money through a site called xtube.com, it requires official registration by sending the site two photos of personal ID, including at least one government issued ID. I am wondering if any future employer be able to access this information (besides probably the FBI)? I'm pretty sure the site won't be listed as an official employer, correct? Does it show up on any background check? And if we were to be government employees, would they be able to see this? -Thank you in advance

It has always been my advice that whatever goes on the Internet goes to everyone forever. Employers pay PI's to search, and the search well. No employer would risk the negative publicity of hiring a "port star." Your grandchildren might even be embarassed. Or, it could just be a scheme to steal your identity, set up fake accounts in your name, buy stuff, and disappear when the police come calling at your door with a warrant. Newspapers: "Porn queens charged in fake ID scheme."

If its on the internet likely anyone can see if. If you get payment from them, it would likely become part of your background via credit checks/income/taxes.

I agree with my colleagues. Don't give personal identification information out unless you are OK with them disclosing your association with them, not to mention your personal information.

Once you sign a release for your photos, you will probably forfeiting any ability to remove it on the future. I've had cases like that. It's easy to post. Nearly impossible to remove. plus you may have to sign contract. Be careful
