Do I need another business license?

I own a company that does Internet Marketing. But rather than doing internet marketing for other companies, we do it for ourselves. Using ranked websites in search engines, ads on PPC search engines, etc. Using affiliate links to earn commission on other companies' products. Anyways, my question is, I want to create a new website that utilizes affiliate marketing, giving people coupons for products, but rather than me just taking all the commission I earn from the customers' purchases, I want to give them back some of it. Like percentage wise or exact dollar amount. Should I create a new company for this particular website, or just utilize the one I have? Maybe for growth later, to gain investors etc, I'll need a Corporation-type structure.

Fantastic - you're clearly not a beginner. You need a team. First a CPA because it's all about the money. Next a lawyer who will get to know you, your current business and your future business(es). That "outside general counsel" may need to get specialized legal advice from specialized lawyers, but knowing someone long-term who has the "big picture" has "big" value. Last, and in my view often overlooked, is the insurance agent, for reasons I won't burden you about here. It appears from your posting that a new eitity might well be advisable. Good luck in executing your business model.

Whether you should form a new entity or not, is not a question that can be answered in this forum. You definitely need General Counsel. General Counsel can evaluate your overall business to develop a strategy that best serves your current business model, while still providing the flexibility you will need to grow your business. Best of luck.
