I-864EZ: "My individual annual income is currently" and "Federal income tax information"

Immigration 2 views 3 answers
I trying to fill out I-864EZ. On question 18 (current individual annual income) I estimated how much I am going to earn 2012. I make x dollars a week times 52. Is that the right way? The next question "Federal income tax information" I don't know how to fill out, because the last time I filed a tax return was 2007. For 2012 I obviously did not file anything yet. Should I just put 2012 on the most recent tax year and the estimated amount I am going to make, together with a letter of my employer and check copies? Thank you for your help.

You should not use that form. You should hire a lawyer Www.immigrate2usa.com

Why are you using this form? Are you consular processing an immigrant visa? And a financial sponsor has to file his or her taxes, even if they're filed late. I think your question suggests that you might really benefit from legal help.

I agree with my colleagues. Based on your question, you would greatly benefit from discussing your case with an immigration lawyer. Discussing your case with a lawyer now will likely save you considerable time, frustration, and money later in the process.
