Appears that limitations to enforce a judgment in NJ is 20 years. See N.J.Stat. Ann. § 2A:14-5.

Judgments are good for 20 years in NJ. Then the judgment can be renewed for another 20 years. Good luck. MARY TOM, ESQ. HUNZIKER, JONES & SWEENEY, P.A. Wayne Plaza II 155 Route 46 West Wayne, NJ 07470 Phone No. (973) 256-0456 Fax No. (973) 256-4784

Judgments are good for 20 years as other counsel indicated so yes they do have a right to send you information subpoenas. If you want to take care of this, you have several options. Your attorney may be able to negotiate with the creditor's lawyer to come up with a payment plan and total reduction. You can also file for chapter 7 bankruptcy and wipe out your debts. I handle a lot of these types of cases. Give me a call if you are interested in a free consultation. 551-427-4428
