How long can you stay in home after Sheriff Sale? I received Notice of Motion but not Order of Possession.

My home was in Sheriff Sale Oct 11. I received Notice of Motion to approve sale for Oct 22. I have not received Order of Possession. Do I have 30 days from receipt of Notice of Motion or do I need to receive an Order of possession? Will I be evicted immediately or in a few days? Thank you

Start looking You'll get the Order of Possession. You can be out in six weeks maybe longer.

You should receive notice. Start looking around for a new place to live but you should have at least a month or 2.

The others are right. You're just about at the end of this process. Better find a new place to live soon or you'll be looking at a cold pile of your stuff out on the street in early December.
