The executor of my trust will not release funds to me. Is there anything I can do?

My mother who has since passed left me a trust fund. The will says in the will that the trustee shall distribute it to me as the trustee deems necessary or advisable from time to time for my health, education, support and best interest. I've asked for money to go back to school, medical, dental, among other things I have needed and have been denied access to my trust. Is there anything I can do to get my trust? I am 29 years old and my trust has no age limit on it.

29???? You need to discuss this with an estate attorney. There are many good ones in and near Joliet. Perhaps the trustee needs to be changed.

You need to have an attorney review the terms of the trust. No one can tell you your rights under a document that we have not been able to see. James Frederick

I understand that you are looking for an answer, but there is no way to provide you with guidance without reviewing the trust document itself. You need to consult with a local trust attorney to determine the proper course of action based on an in depth review of your particular facts and circumstances.
