Try to persuade the parents of the responsible child to pay. Frankly suing for a small amount of money is a waste of time, money and energy. You'll have to pay court filing fees, service of process fees and if you seek an attorney's help you have to pay him. Most states have small claims courts where you represent yourself (no attorneys allowed) and the costs are reduced. Check this out with your local court clerk.
