Hi, Multiple Jobs on L2 EAD

Hi My wife is currently working on L2 EAD full time with one company. The project finishes and they are finding the project and also she got an consulting opportunity with some other firm. Can she do that consulting project while be an employee of One company since she doesnt have to go to office or they can tell her to take leaves till the time they find the project and if they will not find the project, she has to resign. I mean she is on payroll of two companies. Is it valid on L2-EAD. if she is able to manage....
