Mr. Shelowitz earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University. While in law school, he was recognized for his oral advocacy in his litigation advocacy and writing course. He also participated in the Federal Appellate Clinic, assisting indigent prisoners with appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. In addition, he gained practical experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jonathan Goodman, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Florida, and worked with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office on post-conviction sentencing appeals.
Prior to joining Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A., Mr. Shelowitz practiced with a Florida insurance defense firm where his work involved Litigation – Labor and Employment matters as well as disputes involving condominium and homeowner associations. He also assisted employers with drafting workplace policies and agreements, including employee handbooks, non-disclosure agreements, non-competition agreements, and arbitration provisions.
Mr. Shelowitz joined Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A. in January 2023. In his role as an associate attorney, he works with businesses on a range of legal matters including Commercial Litigation, Corporate Law, franchise-related disputes, and Litigation – Labor and Employment matters. His practice involves representing clients throughout the litigation process in both state and federal courts.
Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Shelowitz enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, and traveling.
