Property Tax

TAXES HAVE BEEN PAID EACH YEAR. I AM NOW TOLD 38 YEARS LATER THAT I WAS SOLD AND GIVEN THE DEED TO THE WRONG LOT IN WHICH TAXES HAVE BEEN PAID AND NOW BEING SUED FOR BACK TAX. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
