This also applies to claims of breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty claims against attorneys. Under certain circumstances, the period is tolled or extended for various reasons.

I believe that this question got filtered into the wrong section. It should be in legal and him malpractice. I would defer to my colleague from New Jersey as to the statute of limitations in New Jersey.
