How would I be able to emancipate my girlfriend?

Child Abuse 2 views 3 answers
She is turning 17 years old this winter, her parents do not own up to the title. Although they rarely provide a minimum to not be castrated from ownership of their daughter, they don't give her the attention a parent would, this is the first year they provide medical services to her, and this is just dental, and they do not let her have a life a "normal teenager" would have. She is always locked in her house, cannot leave the sight of the window of said house etc. She wants to be emancipated, the only problem she has is her source of income, she has secretly tried to look for a job but as soon as her parents found out (she has been forbidden from getting a job) she was immediately torn away from the small privilege she already. her parents have had emotionally and physically abused her.

She should report any physical abuse to the police or her school counselor.

She's your girlfriend and 17. How old are you? It's more likely that you will get arrested than get her emancipated so if I were you I would back off. She will be 18 soon and can make her own decisions about where to live and how.
