In Uncontested NY divorce, must defendant be served RJI by regular and certified mail?

Defendant is represented. Attorney filed Notice of Appearance, I served Complaint 6 months ago, and I now want to file final papers and RJI.

Whether the defendant is represented or not has nothing to do with whether or not s/he has to be served with the RJI. The answer is yes the defang needs to be served with the RJI unless he he signed an affidavit waiving service of all papers aside from the final judgment (this is common in uncontested divorces). If s/he is in fact represented then you can just have someone over the age of 18 mail it to the attorney.
