Have a Writ of Possession in Fulton County, GA. The tenant won't leave, the Marshal claims 4-6 wks to execute. How do I expedite

I have had the Writ of Possession issued but the Marshal is claiming they need 4-6 weeks to execute the writ. What are my obligations to the tenant? Can I change the locks? Deactivate the FOBs? Hire an off-duty Marshal to execute the writ?

You cannot expedite. You currently have a "right" of possession. But you will not have actual possession until the Writ is executed. Sorry. I hope this information helps answer your question(s). ~ Kem Eyo
