Robert M. Einhorn is a co-managing partner at Zarco Einhorn Salkowski PA based in Miami, Florida. For more than three decades, he has represented businesses and franchise owners in complex legal disputes throughout the United States and internationally. His practice focuses on Commercial Litigation and Franchise Law, with a substantial portion of his work devoted to representing franchisees involved in disputes with franchisors across industries including hospitality, restaurants, and service-based businesses.
Mr. Einhorn earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he studied accounting and risk and insurance, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. He is both a licensed attorney and a certified public accountant, providing him with a strong foundation in financial and business matters that frequently arise in franchise and commercial litigation.
Since beginning his legal career in 1990, Mr. Einhorn has handled complex civil and criminal litigation matters in state and federal courts across the country. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and multiple federal courts nationwide, and he regularly represents clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings involving franchise disputes, business conflicts, and other commercial matters.
In 1994, Mr. Einhorn began working with Robert Zarco and has since focused much of his work on franchise-related disputes and franchisee representation. He has worked closely with franchisee associations and business owners seeking fair franchising practices and balanced franchisor‑franchisee relationships. His legal work frequently involves disputes related to franchise agreements, system standards, termination issues, and other complex business conflicts.
Mr. Einhorn regularly writes and speaks on topics involving Franchise Law and Commercial Litigation. He has participated in programs and presentations for organizations such as the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising and the International Franchise Association. His publications include contributions to the Franchise Law Journal, the American Bar Association’s Fundamentals of Franchising, and the Franchise Litigation Handbook, Second Edition, which he co-edited. His work has been recognized by organizations and publications including Best Lawyers in America and Franchise Times.
In addition to his professional work, Mr. Einhorn participates in pro bono service in Miami-Dade County through the “Put Something Back” program and has provided legal support to nonprofit initiatives, including organizations focused on raising awareness of Spina Bifida.
