From filing a claim to trial, figure around 2 years. Simply being searched may not contitute grounds for a claim for violation of your civil rights, since the decision to conduct a search could have been based on probable cause, and your damages are going to be relatively minimal compared to someone who was shot and gravely injured. Consult some civil rights litigators to discuss your situation.

You may have a basis to claim civil damages. A private company is not allowed to force a private citizen to strip search. A government law enforcement official may force you to strip search if there is good reason to believe you are engaged in illegal activity. A private company must call the government, it the private compnay wants to have a strip search.
