Does my landlord have a right to work on my home I still live in it with my kids with asthma

So my little sisters have asthma including me and my mom and I have bad allergies I been having bad allergies lately .any how the landlord is vcate us because he is selling y home we must leave before April 1 2015 the house has three leaks in the ceiling two in the living room and the other in my older sisters ceilings she woke up to her blanket wet because it has been raining in the past week his workers are here every day construction .also two years ago we didnt have a Christmas or thanksgiving because our kitchen had to be rebuilt because of old wood truned into mold.
